How do I get my kitten to stop nursing on my dogs?

My kitten keeps nursing on my Pit Bulls, and now there lacating. Made one of them have a false pregnacy which is bad for them, How do I get stop this? Please help!

    my kitty used to do that except she ****** on people’s shirts! All we did was spray her with water everytime she did it and she eventually grew out of it.

    Monitor your kitten and when you notice its going to start nursing, remove the kitten from the dog/room. You may want to consult your vet too.

    your dog has to ween the kitten itself like a momma cat would otherwise it will never stop the dog as to gradually make the kitten stop

    You need to have your pit bulls spayed and nuetered. This will prevent a false pregnancy and lactation. Once they are spayed, your kitten will stop trying to nurse. Until then, try to keep them seperated. Put the kitten on a high quality kitten food too.

    well you shouldve kept it with its mother. but i think you should bottle feed her/him yourself. cause he/she is probably hungry. shell get used to you bottle feeding her and she’ll stop

    I had that same problem with my kittens and my dogs. What I did was ****** the dogs with a water bottle so they would learn not to let the cats/ kittens do that. Good luck!

    actually- a kitten nursing will not make a dog have a false pregnancy- dogs have false pregnancy’s all the time with out any kittens or puppies around.
    I doubt the kitten did this to produce milk anyways- as many kittens will use substitite nipples- such as thier thumbs or other cats toes.
    i have found personally that it does more damage stopping kitten from nursing that just ignoring it till it stops.
    Every time you try something to make kitten stops, the kitten associates YOU with the negative thing, that YOU are forcing the kitten to stop a VERY VERY reinforcing thing like nursing. It can make the kitten very antisocial with people. Maybe have the kitten kept seperate from the dogs- or get the kitten another buddy.
