I would NEVER go into this field. it is a very stressful and physically demanding job. And the pay is very low. CNA’s don’t get the respect and the right pay that need for such hard work.

Starting CNA training next week for a part time job. Because I’m a minor I am only going to be make around 7.50 an hour.

Next semester, I’ll be in the CNA prgram and I honestly can not wait for it! It really does pump me up to know I’ll be helping people and wearing scrubs while doing it! It’s also a great stepping stone in becoming an RN (which is what I’ll be in a few years).

the pay is different from state to state, i know where i live (nevada) you start at 13-15 an hour, and its a 60 hour work week. So, and you can also work anywhere in the hospital. im going for my CNA this spring then im going for my BS in nursing.

Wow, pretty low pay for such a stressful and “dirty” job. $9.00 an hour? I could just go to Wal-mart and make that much. They should get paid at least $15 starting. Hospitals and long-term facilities take advantage of CNA’s.
