Thats fcked. I’m sorry that happened. I’m thinking of nursing school too. Would you say being a prior EMT student would help?

It is the largest Community College nursing program in Michigan. Ask your nursing instructor. They will know. Since an investigation is in progress, I cannot give too much information.
I was very opinionated during school. Instructors do not like that. They prefer you sit their and be quite when they pontificate. I was a paramedic in Detroit EMS for years. Nursing school was easy for me. My problem was with instructors who were abusive and on a power trip. Power corrupts. You will see!!

I was in a big community college nursing program in Michigan. I am male. My experience was a nightmare. I had to drop. My instructor was absolutely evil. She sexually assaulted me followed by informing me that I did not deserve to be in the program. A big investigation is in progress including criminal. They begged me to return. I informed the Dean that she was running a zoo and one of her animals bit me. I have a good job so I had the option of dropping. All I can say is GOOD LUCK!!!

Good luck man! I took all the prerequisites for nursing while I was still in high school. All i have left is nursing classes, and I start next fall. Thanks for posting your videos. It’s a lot of encouragement to all of us future nurses. Keep it up!

don’t worry about how much money it costs, at least in california i started at about 42 dollars an hour, and nursing school will be a blast, because there is very little competition from men and there is quite a bit of competition for the women, which leads to a lot of fun and very interesting relationships.

It really depends on what state you are in. Either way, it’s usually a very livable income.. just be sure your heart is in it… you are going to see some really messed up stuff, and quite possibly have people die in front of you. I am starting my clinicals this January… I wish you luck! =D

So what were the entrance exams(NLN)mostly based on? And did you have your Associates before you applied for clinicals or already a Bachelors? Very true indeed, first things always first, and I’m just trying to get all the facts.
Absolutely my friend.

What did you do to prepare for nursing school?
What were all the steps on getting in to nursing school?
Ultimate dream is to become a CRNA, but first things first, so I’m aiming for becoming an RN!
