So the good news is I got accepted to the university I wanted to go to (woohoo) but the not so good news is I don’t qualify for the nursing program because of my scratchy transcript! So they said my freshman year I can take another course and then switch to nursing next year..

My question is what major would help me the most in transferring to Nursing?

Well, my friend is going into nursing and she’s taken a lot of Biology and high math classes, so I would suggest some kind of math major or Biology (for sure this one.)

So I guess you don’t qualify for the medical assistant program? You are gonna have to take Gen Eds(general education classes). Gen Eds is more or less like the classes you took in high school but more advanced. College Algebra, Trig, Geometry, statistics etc., Science like Bio, Chem, Physics, and English classes like literature and some electives like Spanish.
